While in College…
I graduated from St. Lawrence with a major in Economics and minored in English Writing. When I wasn’t on the golf course playing for the Lady Saints, I was working first for our First Year Council – and later for the Thelomathesian Society (SLU’s student government).
Many students ask about campus jobs available on campus…I had many! Not only was I a Community Assistant (I was Sara Kent’s CA) but I was also a Peer Counselor for the Career Services office. I also worked as an usher for movies shown on campus at Gulick Theatre.

What I like about St. Lawrence
During my undergraduate time, St. Lawrence was a place I found comfort and belief in my academic abilities. My professors’ encouragement and support allowed me to push myself while always knowing I had someone acting as a spotter.
Canton is my home. I love that I can go to the grocery store and know the person behind me in line. I have been so fortunate to have found a second family in the professors, staff, and friends here at St. Lawrence.

While in College…
I recently graduated from St. Lawrence in 2007 with a combined major in French and Canadian Studies, and minored in Education. On campus, I worked in the admissions office as a Tour Guide and Intern which led to my interest in the admissions field. I was also President of the Senior Class and involved with student government. Through the SLU off campus programs, I was able to study abroad in France, Canada, and twice in Senegal.

What I like about St. Lawrence
I ultimately chose to attend St. Lawrence – and decided not to leave – because of our unique location, strong sense of community, and the emphasis placed on international study.
